Elevating Legacy: Revitalising Mersham's Historic Rail Yard with Trinity Square Developments

In collaboration with our esteemed partner, Trinity Square Developments, we embarked on a transformational journey in Mersham. An old Grade II listed rail yard stood as the canvas, a testament to the potential that lay within.
Our task? A bespoke office for our client, woven alongside shell and core office units. But complexities abounded, beginning with site access. Treading with care, we embraced the existing brick building, nurturing its historical essence with a sensitive touch.
Collaboration was key. Leveraging the expertise of the developer's sub-contractors, we crafted custom metal stairs and OSB cupboards, enhancing both form and function. Internally, a contemporary blend of materials breathed life into the space, setting the stage for modern work dynamics.

Our task? A bespoke office for our client, woven alongside shell and core office units. But complexities abounded, beginning with site access. Treading with care, we embraced the existing brick building, nurturing its historical essence with a sensitive touch.
Sustainability was integral. Rainwater harvesting and PV charging points not only embraced eco-consciousness but also spoke to our commitment to innovation.
But challenges were aplenty, each overcome with tenacity. Commercial projects come with unyielding deadlines and fixed budgets. The intricacies of working within a listed building tested our creativity, as we unveiled heritage while designing for modern functionality.
The project's heartbeat? Our partner's own offices. Their trust in our vision was a testament to the bond we share. With listed building constraints, we pushed boundaries to incorporate renewables, showcasing that heritage and sustainability can coexist.
